Q. Can I borrow a car while my car is being repaired?
A. Yes. You can use one of our free courtesy cars while your car is being worked on, please request a car at the time of booking and bring your driving license with you on the day.

Q. I live in Liskeard, are you able to collect/deliver my vehicle?
A. Yes we offer a collection and delivery service in Saltash, Plymouth, Liskeard and surrounding areas.

Q. If Riverside Garage services my vehicle will my warranty be invalidated?
A. No, we will adhere to the manufacturer’s service specifications and use genuine approved parts so your warranty will not be affected.

Q. Will you be able to reset my service light?
A. Yes we have the equipment to reset service lights and service indicators.

Q. Will you stamp my service book?
A. Yes, if you leave your service book with us while your vehicle is serviced we will stamp it for you.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A For most jobs you will need to make an appointment and we will endeavour to book you in as soon as possible when it is convenient for you. However if you have an emergency situation, need a bulb, wiper blade or tyre change please call in straight away and we will do what we can to help.

Q. Do you have a waiting room?
A. Yes we have a waiting room where you can sit and enjoy a hot or cold drink while we work on your car.

Q. Why should I service my car?
A. Servicing your vehicle regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendation helps to prolong the life of the car and also helps to keep your car safe by maintaining parts for longer.

Q. What is an MOT?
A. An MOT is a check carried out to important parts of your vehicle to ensure that it meets current environmental and safety standards. The test does not cover the condition of the engine, gearbox or clutch.

Q. When should I get an MOT?
A. You should get an MOT test done on your vehicle every year or on the third anniversary of the vehicles registration. You can get an MOT up to a month before its due date and your expiry date will not change. Please ask us for advice.

Q. My MOT has run out what should I do?
A. Please ring us straight away and we will make an appointment for you as soon as possible. You are allowed to drive your vehicle to the MOT test centre without a valid MOT as long as you have an appointment with them.
